Free Workshops for Seniors

Learn how to better protect your money and your independence. No one wants to lose their life's savings, or for a loved one to lose money through a scam or dishonest marketing campaign. Sadly, there are plenty of scam artists out there who try to prey on the elderly. In our workshops, we give you information you may need:
  • Other workshops may tell you about managing finances. We give you information about protecting your family from financial scams.
  • What are common scams, and how can you protect yourself?
  • How can you help protect a loved one with dementia from being exploited or scammed?
  • Learn what scientists are discovering about the decision-making savvy of the elderly.

Don't let anyone tell you that you can't handle your finances just because you're getting older. Research shows that in healthy aging, people get better at detecting scams as they get older. However, people with dementia are at greater risk.
